What happens on a wheelchair home assessment?

When you have completed our online form and we have received it, you will then be contacted by telephone for a very short consultation by a member of our assessment team.

During the call, we will agree with you on a suitable day for your assessment, which will be in the comfort of your own home.

It’s a home visit, so that our assessor can see your unique requirements first-hand and how you intend to use your wheelchair in your home and in any outdoor spaces.

On the day of your assessment, your assessor will bring with them some potential wheelchair options, based on the information given in our initial consultation call.

You will have plenty of opportunity to try out these wheelchairs, so that you can find the perfect fit and features you are looking for.

Our wheelchair specialist will also take your customised measurements and discuss your personalised needs and any medical requirements that need to be accommodated.

You will then be offered a recommended solution, based on your exact needs and one that is also well within your available wheelchair budget.

Lastly, you will be given a quotation for your custom-made wheelchair - that is completely without any obligation to buy.

We will leave you with this quotation so that you can make your own decision, and have time to ask any further questions in the days following your home assessment.
